To use GRP profiles correctly and avoid any accident or damage to the material, it is advisable to follow a number of recommendations, applicable in all conditions.
|
• Use at temperatures between -40°C and +140°C. • Use appropriate gangways to walk on the laminates (which cannot be walked on). • Always fasten on top of the profile rib/corrugation. • Always handle taking suitable accident-prevention measures. • Do not handle in strong winds. • Cut preferably with diamond blades, etc. and use tools that can make neat holes. • Lift and lay the profiles in compliance with the enforced regulations. • Keep away from flames and sparks. • Do not expose packed material to bad weather. • Store raised off the ground. • Where possible, store vertically. • Tie down when exposed to bad weather. • Repair any break and/or hole with resin and fibreglass. • Do not clean with products unsuitable for FRP. | |
